ScratchCam V2.1 Is Here!

Well, almost a year on since we released version 2.0 of Scratchcam, version 2.1.1 finally arrived with a number of updates and tweaks, but with one small new feature that will change the way you use ScratchCam for ever!

The all new “Stamp” button does just one thing, it “stamps” the currently selected effects onto your photo. But the great thing about this is that it allows you to stack infinite amounts of effects on top of each other. Not only that, but it also means that you can individually adjust the opacity of each layer effect too.

The creative possibilities have just exploded!

My recommendation, if you haven’t yet tried it is to download the update, just play around with it for a few minutes and before long you will get a feel for what is now possible!

Hey guys,

We’ve gone a bit quiet on the update front this past couple of weeks, but we’re now finalising some bits and pieces for version 2.1 and it should be with you very soon. We expect to submit to the app store this week some time.

Hi Everyone

So it’s the time of the week when we showcase the best scratchcam’d work shared on flickr from the past week, right here on our blog.
We are also starting to work on the next scratchcam update this week, so fingers crossed guys, it should have some nice nice features and fixes again. We are eager to make it as good as it can be for all of our fans new, old and the ones to come. We are really really excited about this, hang on in there guys!

Hey everyone, here’s another round of excellent pictures that we have picked out from those that you have all been sharing on Flickr over the past week. As always, thanks to you all for continuing to make ScratchCam part of your tool kit and for sharing the products of your creativity here with us all

Regular readers will notice that we have a bit of a different look to the blog now! We are currently in the process of updating the design, but it’s still a work in progress and might look a little bit funky for a day or two.

The biggest benefit of the new design is that the page is a bit wider so we can show your flickr images at a larger resolution, which can only be a good thing

New ScratchCam Frame Pack Released

Hey everyone, we’ve been playing around with some frame ideas lately and have picked three to include in a brand new download pack for you to try out.

There’s a new film type effect, a weathered wooden frame and a wonky old print type effect which when combined with some classic ScratchCam colours and scratches can be used to create some great looks.

I made an example of each frame just now using a shot I took a couple of weeks ago whilst flying back into Sydney at sunrise (awesome btw). Check them out, download the pack and share some of your new pics with us over on our Facebook page or our Flickr group.
